Ok no beating around the bush, I'll stick the neck out - its out there POCT=POC1.  But a lot of effort & $ has gone into this device and the Corporate Noise want it in the market asap.  So POCT will be releasing their "working" version in Bendlux [Nov].  This will give that team (that put their all into it) their time in the sun, and the new improved cartridge will follow when that is ready for release - and that comes down to economics, and post release market assesments.  So it would be marvey if Geoff could secure a PR at or around the inital release, that POCT is working with partners including ANTEO and work is "Already underway" in bring to market a superior multiplexing cartridge (non-gamma version) of the cartridge.


Cavete - I'll stick the neck out - yes but remember - I'm still a semi anominous poster and its AJIMO.  However, I'll note other posters have similar notions.

Just to note there are so many things required to get a device like minicare to market. Every revision requires just in documentation -User/Operational/Training/Maintenance notes etc, checked and rewritten, then their Internal and Authorities' approvals needed to be checked off - decisions to alter course like this are Bismark-like in navigation.
