Unless ofcourse, these announcements give Shareholders confidence that they Don't Need those options in play, and infact makes them worried that if they came live, that they might swamp the market with cheap Shares, thus diluting any gain...

Best thing you want to do, is look at the Top Share Holders, and how many Options they have, as they will be the ones with the voting power.
Those are the people that are investing for business, and probably make decisions based on best financial outcome for them... Which I'm pretty sure that diluting their holdings is not high on the agenda.

So I think that Option holders probably want the price to stay nice and low, so they don't appear to be a threat.
