I agree with all you've said.

I think those who are keen to judge a company by its quarterlies (as is their right) are going to miss out in a big way with Alexium, just look at the growth trajectory (in a business rather than SP sense) thus far. Compare where the company is today on almost any metric with a year ago - Political/Legislative, Commercial, Military, Products offered, Staff growth (a great metric of where a company is headed in my book), partnering, Customer leads, Purchase orders... I don't think I've seen a company acheive this much so quickly, as a result the normally relatively short lag of quarterlies (compounded by longish terms of settlement) mean that the financials will be huge in comparison to where the company activity is at, the company has hinted as heavily as possible that the next quarter should book $500,000+ revenue alone (ie more than all of last year), and the final quarter several million. Waiting for those quarterly reports for confirmation may be a safer investment strategy (if that's your style), but IMO risks missing big gains. I/we were lucky in getting set at lower prices which barring disaster (failure of DoD, commercial flop etc) are unlikely to be revisited on current indicators - and I'll concede short of a very small top up in that big drop/bounce I haven't bought any above 80 cents, and won't until some big news arrives (military/further commercial success).

I'm not saying those who invest on robust proven financials are wrong to do so, indeed it's a much lower risk way of doing things if you're very good at accountancy and business profiling (Warren Buffet made his billions doing this), it's just a very different style from my own and many here, ie higher risk/higher reward.

Won't I don't think AJX is, is a typical ASX speculative ride (PSY, LWP, ADO, OBJ thus far etc), I doubt many here a trying to time when to jump off before an SP collapse from a speculative bubble imploding as reality sets in - AJX appears to be the real deal with nearterm transition to profit and rapid growth stock, sure the SP will get ahead and lag behind the business, but me there isn't a huge mispricing of the enterprise occurring at the moment. This has emerging disruptive business written all over it.
