yak, it is little wonder you have been unable to understand how places like Indonesia work. For you everything is either black or white, right or wrong, yes or no. It means that you are failing to see everything else that falls in between, which is virtually everything.
Your definition of corruption is undoubtedly based on being from a society that has very tight central control of both the people and the environment in which they live and operate. It will obviously be different for someone from a society where there is very loose control over the everyday affairs of the citizens who have much greater personal control over how and what they do to make a living.
Indonesia was not considered by many to be the last great free enterprise nation in the world for no reason. Have you ever lived in a truly free society Yak?
