Anyone who knows me, including many who know me as Badfish here on HC for the last 7 odd years, know that I'm not a "trader". I'm a medium to long term investor and this investment in Merlin/Central has already been going for over 2 years. I haven't posted much on Central lately because I've been travelling and couldn't be bothered commenting on every up or down day. Quality will tell in the end as it did with STU at 50c, COE at 20c and NDO at 3c.
Given that Central is only just trading above cash backing, having a clear understanding of the potential of the dirt that has been accumulated by John Heugh, and knowing the quality of management on the board of this junior oiler, why would I be considering selling at anything less than 3 or 4 times its current price. All things being equal I will hold out for some good results, sell a few of my FPO's to exercise my options and then set off for another couple of months overseas.
