I support exactly what I said, as do the majority of voters, if elections are a guide.
There are millions of people being abused daily across the globe, many millions. If you chose to empathize with them all, you would lose your sanity. Events in Nauru are no more or less relevant than abuse in Syria, India or a thousand other places. It is not our responsibility. These people made a choice.
Sometimes you need to look at your own feet to see who is actually out of step.
