should you give hc another chance? well only you can answer that, do you get value out of it or enjoy it when it doesn't frustrate you to hell? I think it has a lot to offer, the pearls of wisdom amongst a lot of chaff (to mix my metaphors). There are a lot of banter posts that need to be waded through compared to some sites, I am as guilty of that as anybody, but it helps relieve the tension and builds up more of a community I think.
There are a few posters who have left over the years when things went a bit awry on hc, who have left a void, but Gerry has done a great job keeping us on the straight and narrow even if sometimes he is too quick on the draw.
I would actually support a nominal fee if it meant the equipment could be upgraded to prevent undue lag, personally it has been very quick for me lately.
I think your posts are very valuable esp in volatile times, got me thinking beyond the next 12 months, somewhat outside the square which is what we need to get an edge, but it's really up to you.
