even a revision in pricing with regard to the iron ore is tricky
clearly a down revision is needed BUT..
there is a premium price in place for the type of IO CSD would produce - I think I mentioned heamatite earlier ( my bad ) . In actuality ( unless I'm wrong again and I shouldn't quote from memory) it is magnetite.
Magnetite commands a higher price as it tends to be purer ( it being magnetic separation is easier) and it creates an exothermic component to smelting ie it adds energy to the mix rather than the endothermic reaction with heamatite.
I've always found it difficult to find a defined price for magnetite but there is a definite premium in play.
Equally IF ( another very large word) CSD are aiming to separate the magnetite prior to shipping / smelting ( which would make sense if they end up smelting locally) then they would be shipping VERY high grade IO ie not the usually poor iron content stuff talked about at 50 bucks a ton
