Moondoong, the Vietnamese demonstrated that physical bombing and occupation of a country does not constitute successful invasion. Even the 'invasion' of Iraq by the Coalition of the Willing has unravelled before our very eyes as we lost the battle for the hearts and minds of the people of Iraq.
People like Nelson Mandela who refused to surrender their values, their beliefs and their thoughts can never be invaded. That's why Australia's best defence is the public education system and the socialisation of our people rather than a huge fleet of submarines, another five squadrons of F35s and littoral combat ships galore.
Australia will only fall to 'invasion' if we abuse those values which collectively define us as Australians and allow the likes of Tony Abbott to further divide and denigrate our peoples; from workers to Muslims!
