If I was going to bet on the DJIA (which I'm not) I would nt be surprised to see it lower than 2001/2 and 2007/8 lows. I would say less than 7500 and maybe less than 5000.
The margins calls and lack of sufficient cash is also going to magnify the calamity in my opinion for health funds, municipal authorities etc. etc.
Get prepared.
Could be any time this falling away. Best guess 1 to 4 weeks.
To me we seem to be following the pattern of 1929 moves so far. The military build up and migration is also reminiscent of the build up during the 1930's to war and seeing rise in nationalism and protectionism following deflation and anti immigrant fervour. I see worrying signs all around right now. We have got ourselves in a mighty pickle and we can't wake up from this bad dream sadly. It will have to play out and we will all feel the consequrences eventually.
