2 ways to look at this.

1. I could imagine a co. setting up an agreement like this if they KNEW they have something in the ground and coming.

2. Could this be a backdoor support strategy? Imagine the board room meeting.

"Hey fellas...

So _We_ know we have some decent ore in the ground here. It's just that it's apparently either not big enough or high enough grade for someone to loan us the $230M we need to dig it up and sell it.

So, while we have some street cred in this market, let's make sure that if we can't get the cash to dig it up, at least we will have some form of longer term (in about 10 yrs or so) future growth market to look at and keep the co. afloat ...... and our jobs intact..."




...... does seem to be a little bit strange for a mining company to acquire a national distribution agreement for a finished product. No....?
