Australia to accept 12,000 Syrian refugees, page-194

It's absolutely ridiculous to compare these refugee numbers to the numbers accepted by Australia. It's patently obvious that all they need to do in the ME is walk across the border, and mingle with people with similar social mores and attitudes; the gross practice of genital mutilation comes immediately to mind. Do we really want people with these out dated, and disgusting habits, in Australia eg as revealed on the SMH on 02/01/2014, where a Sydney father was charged with arranging genital mutilation of his daughter whilst overseas.
