re: cost buy in gloom sell in boom LOL I brought in on the close today thanks to the amount of shorters.

Firstly becuase they have to cover leading to a massive rally and b, the market is likely to reverse a lot of its loses tommorow and shorters will be in a panic to cover.

Technically you should see when there are fewest short positions becuase traders can only short more stock and thus increase selling pressure and you should buy when there are lots of short positions and thus traders must cover thus putting the odds in your favour for a bounce
