Colonel - they're all as mad as cut snakes, so who knows if it's true!
More interesting is news being confirmed today that Russia has been moving military materiel into Syria and looks as though it will commence bombing raids and also troops on the ground, not just to hit I.S. but to prop up Assad.
Whilst I would have thought that's a positive development, news coming out of Washington is belligerent toward the move
Why the US is intent on forcing out Assad and creating yet another power vacuum - presumably to be filled by islamists - is beyond me. The Russians are about to wrong foot the USA; at least they have a strategy and an end game.
Is it part of Barry O'Bama's "arab spring" strategy? The worst and most ineffectual President since Carter, surely.
