You, arrogantly, assume that the unknown, nameless people you champion above your fellow citizens, will gratefully acknowledge your intercession on their behalf.
You will be a god to them.
Alternatively, they will recognise your foolishness, tell you what you want to hear and take all the advantage they can.
Your disapproval is meaningless.
If things get tough, which I think they will, your voice will disappear.
Your opinions are tolerated, but have no value.
