re: drop your shorts her come the bulls Every time there are FOMC Minutes scheduled for the day the market always soars (has last 6 times I think anyway). I mean, if everything was that bloody rosy the DOW should be at 15000 by now. Are these people who muster these 1 day rallies really that dense to fall for the same soothing words each month? Or is this just another dose of manipulation like the gold price the last 2 days - up $10 over 23 hours, down $20 the next hour, up $10 next 23 hours, down $15 the next hour (each drop coming after 10am New York time). May be out with the exact drops but the point is the gains are wiped out in an instant. If $US collapses gold goes up, then straight back down. If $US rises gold gets walloped! Makes no sense - but that's probably why I am in the red whilst everyone else in making bucketloads!!
