Holding out for a partnering deal is the last hope but if it hasn't happened yet then chances are dwindling...
Look at prr. Supposedly an awesome cutting edge biotech with huge potential, but where is the billion $ partnering deal if there tech is so good? Been going on for years to no avail.
Then look at a company like pxs - they just sold a prospective fatty liver drug to big pharma (for up to $750m if successful) - prior to even the phase one trial results coming out! Crazy.
I think it really depends on whether the company is developing something that big pharma wants at a point in time. In IVX's case I'm not so sure there is a lot of interest..... But I could be wrong!
