Banking collapse is not on the agenda is it? From what I read, as a global industry, they are much less vulnerable to any contagion now, than what they were in 2008. If we move further along trend into disinflation and there is less incentive to borrow for purchases, and money under the mattress is cheaper to store, then banks could become pretty ordinary businesses. But as far as citizens losing all their savings - I sure hope not.
When's this biblical Armageddon going to take place? I want to go for a swim right now, but there is a threat of lightening brewing. Is the unshaven old man in the clouds still in a bad mood, or have we got through that?
I noticed Shanghai dip under 3000 again today for the first time since the Central Planners propped it up a couple of weeks back. Could be ominous for more imminent suffering. God doesn't sell too many books over there though, so that might come down to unlucky numbers or some alternative superstition.
