If the ASX wanted to confirm the bona fides of the deal, there is no reason why AZZ and the other party should not get an authorised officer of the ASX to view the deal, and make him/her subject to a strict confidentiality agreement. The ASX officer could then confirm the vailidty without divulging any names, and all is sweet. Seems a pretty straight forward way of sorting it out.
