Yeah, we are world's apart. I've been hearing for years about the great crash, the Armageddon that's going to wipe out everyone except those who own gold and silver, but actually it's worked in reverse and will more than likely continue.

Goldbugs were promised instant riches and they still are by many gold psychics like Jim Sinclair ($50,000), and it hasn't happened nor will it.

I can remember reading the WSJ in San Francisco as the silver price collapsed, one plaintive silver stacker complaining "but I thought silver was supposed to go to $150". lol

Even if the Federal Reserve don't raise rates this week any gold revival will probably be short-lived as they clarify what's on the horizon and when rates will be raised.


I've just been reading in a farming magazine about a South African family who arrived in NZ in 2008 with $12,000, pretty much without any skills. They started milking cows and calf-rearing, now they own eight cash-flow positive residential properties, they employ 3 full-time and one part-time staff to milk cows, increased the farm production by 71% and were finalists in the 2015 Immigration Industry Awards.


Maybe you ought to take a leaf out of their book instead of waiting for Armageddon and punting on the gold get-rich-quick scheme.
