The question is what Platinum is going to do with the unwanted divisions. I guess that is their expertise - the company will be broken up and value-added. They will have the resources to expedite the reorganisation. Clearly, Intevia is the real jewel in the crown and just like TXT, no-one in the know will want the old fasteners technology unless it is an outfit like Alcoa who are still into high-volume just-in-time low margin products that are still needed by industry. Not our problem now so something of a relief.
Will Platinum now spearhead the listing on the NASDAQ of the desired divisions including TZL?
