something doesnt add up.

the excuse they use is dim witted.

OK, if we tell you who it is, they will get approached by other oilers for sale.

(ie, we have found a mug who will stump up 250m, and dont want him to back out to other assets for cheaper)

1. implying that their buyer is so daft, that they haven't considered other assets already.

2. By saying this, hasnt the buyer already read their response, and if DAFT no more, then already looking further afield?

3. indeed then if there are other assets that would approach the buyer, isnt it now more likely that the buyer will look further afield, hence the deal will collapse anyway ?
