I just don't get the notion in this forum how so many posters seem oblivious to history and Soviet / Russia's involvement over the decades with adversely meddling in other countries affairs for their own benefit. Crimea, Ukraine, Syria, Georgia, all feeling the effects of Vlad's grubby little KGB fingers. It wasn't that long ago they invaded Afghanistan for no other reason than to protect their interests. What a belting the war lords gave them. Russia has always done whatever Russia sees as self serving, never for selfless motives or humanitarian purposes. The country is broke, yet there's billionaires in power right across Govt. It's people are too sheet scared to question authority, the population is dwindling by around 1 million people per annum due to aids and alcoholism, the joint is quickly becoming 3rd world thanks to Vlad and his goons.
It's hardly the US or it's allies that should be held to account for the sheet that's happening in the world, without Russia the world would be a far safer place.
