The company's cash burn has been a topic that has been discussed/scrutinized in detail over the course. Many posters who own/have owned/don't own have all tried to dissect this area with no real substance or conviction in their arguments/facts laid.
The simple truth of the matter is no will one really knows what's actually in motion and basing all opinions on the figures (via statements/updates) the company occasionally provides the market.
Yes, there is no denying that the company's reserves are a bit thin and concerns are amplified each time the market is updated and to find no real revenues coming through.
The company's overall strategy, at least what they have been preaching is been a growth orientated one, global expansion of rapidly executing within the 2 business arms Platform OEM and Telco Channel Partners. The company has specifically noted that this strategy will cause sacrificing some speed to initial revenue (i appreciate all the discussion on Cacoon, but we are talking about Covata). The company has always emphasized that the foundations they are laying now are for the much larger rapid growth they expect in the future.
A few final thoughts, the company has informed the market that they believe it has sufficient capital until mid 2016, excluding any revenue, yes, now that's what they are saying....who knows yea... but one would think that the pipeline would have started to mature by then and we would have more of an understanding of what's in store. Since listing the company has made significant progress in securing deals with a landmark deal with CISCO over 10 years... they have managed to achieve this within a decent timeframe and the market is acutely aware of it...what it is also aware of is that the ceesh from these would start to feed into the business eventually (the company thinks soon) and at that point we can all see what the market really thinks of CVT and thinks its fair value is..and that's what really matters at the end don't you think?....what the market thinks?....
Until then I'm sure this CR or no CR debate will continue....there will be catcalls...
Have a great long weekend to all those Vics in here...
Off to the parade and the GF tomorrow to see my beloved Hawks bring home the goodness....again....
Go Hawks!.....
