I was alerted to the State of Denver matter by Kiwoz48 a few days ago. Collectively, the selling down by the two US instos is good news for Australian investors - it provides an opportunity to acquire one of the best stocks on the ASX at a lower price than its metrics merit.
I do not know what role the Chairman, Donald McLay, played in turning CCP around, but when I refer to the sterling effect of Thomas Beregi, I use his name as a proxy for the team of good guys, some of whose contributions are unknown to us outsiders. The CCP team has nothing to learn from Encore, other than to avoid some of its mistakes. I wish I had the CCP team holding the tiller of some of my other stocks.
