IMO Tony Abbott never explained to mainstream Australians that he would set about transferring the minimal wealth of the asset poor, low income earners, the unemployed, the elderly and the young to those who already had the lion's share of it.
IMO that was an abuse of those values which collectively define us as Australians and explains why 168 consecutive polls went so badly against this rotten government and why Malcolm Turnbull now is being given a honeymoon period.
