There are very few countries in the world who can afford to use other than nuclear
Some of the third world countries could develop Hydro and thermal but most of then as they develop will have to join the rest of the world with nuclear
Australia of course could stay with coal or gas for the next 100 years
Australia which has had a history of nuclear research and it's first reactor in 1958, plus ample supply of material could do worse that get in on the forthcoming action
I do not like nuclear power and would prefer coal but we have to be practical on the subject of power and although all these people get warm and fuzzy about their renewable power it is already a failed technology and will last until governments decide they can put the money to better use elsewhere and the public start complaining about taxation increases
Nuclear is inevitable for most of the world for power production
