Muslim ideas go along the line of 'your my enemies enemy so you are my friend, your my enemies friend so you are my enemy' I heard a radio report from Syria and the journalist there claimed that Saddam would be shot at the Syrian border, they hate him because he did not kill enough Americans so he is now an enemy. As to bombing France, (I did say Europe not only France), I would not have put it beyond him.
