That's because they aren't unfounded insinuations, they're facts. He's not got a license to practice law in New York, but he joined the bar associations, presumably to make it look like he was a lawyer. You don't have to be a lawyer to join them. He's not in the nationwide database of licensed CPAs but he joined the AICPA apparently to make it look like he's a CPA. Again, you don't have to be a CPA to join. I will happily admit I'm wrong as soon as somebody gives me the state issued number for his law or CPA license. Until then I'm not willing to assume that both of these databases just happen to be wrong.
