Okay, I'll explain it one more time. The AICPA doesn't license CPAs. The states do. So one can't be a Certified Public Accountant with the AICPA anymore than they can be a Medical Doctor licensed by the Plumber's Union.

And there's no such thing as a Chartered Practicing Accountant in the United States. Are you suggesting that if somebody is a licensed doctor anywhere in the world it's legit to say they're a doctor in the United States if that's where they happen to be at the moment?

Finally, even if you're willing to jump through some semantic hoops and pretend words don't mean what they say with respect to accounting credentials, you're completely ignoring the press release statement that he has a "New York law license". That is a flatly untrue statement.

I persist because I am completely fascinated at the lengths people will go to in order to avoid conclusions they don't like. The explanations have become comical.
