"Cold hard facts", amg?

Well perhaps this response I just received from UQ might recalibrate your notion of 'facts' versus 'interpretation':

"Dear _______,


Thank you for expressing an interest in taking part in the Knee Guard (KEG) Trial. The trial is underway and we are currently in the process of recruiting participants.


To be eligible for inclusion in the Knee Guard Trial you need to be undertaking regularly exercise and currently suffer from knee discomfort which can either be gradual in onset or relating to a previous injury or surgery.


Additionally it is a requirement that you are male, between 40 and 55yrs of age, and currently residing in the Brisbane Metro area.


The trial will require participants to attend two 1.5hr testing which will be held fourteen days apart at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia Campus (Brisbane).


Please do not hesitate to contact me it you have any further queries regarding the specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. Thank you again for expressing an interest in the trial and please feel free to recommend the study to any males you know who have knee pain that are within the 40-55 years age range and are in the Brisbane metropolitan region."

In case you missed it, amg:
"The trial WILL require participants to attend two 1.5hr testing which will be held fourteen days apart".

A previous check with UQ confirmed the same thing, yet you - somehow- extract only a positive spin on your "cold hard facts" which now out to be cold hard wrong.

Again, this is not a pissing competition to see who's right and who's wrong. My only point is this: too many people on these threads are blind to anything other than positive spin which is (certainly in this case) wrong.

Too many see only the silver lining, but can't see the cloud.

As for Glyn - there is absolutely NO reason he could not have divulged what I just uncovered. Instead, he says, "it's all there in the quarterly"..... and subsequently allows people to misinterpret his obfuscation.
