Everyone seems to be pinning the property prices here on the mining boom
In some areas in Perth this maybe accurate, like in the area we are, a lot of engineering types moving into the area from east and overseas on massive sallaries and wanting properties near the beach
These type of people are working in Perth based positions and are not going to live somewhere like Balga
But the vast number of people living in Perth (and buying properties) are not on massive sallaries and are not even employed in anything to do with mining
and when it comes to the fly in fly out staff working in the mining industry, companies do not car were in Australia they have to fly these people in from.
