Just to further discuss what you were saying about the average size...

They are currently running at 20,000 BCM (as per the update from 14-Oct-15)
in that same ANN they gave an updated Grade of 7.90 carats per 100 cubic metres.

ok so lets just look at the last 20 days where those 14 specials were found in. (I use 20 days, because I am guessing they are not including the last day or so in their ANN... plus time difference and such)
so, 20 days of mining/30 days in a month x 20,000 BCM (per month) = 13,333 BCM since September 28.

13,333BCM x 7.9 crts per 100 cubic meters = 1053.2 carats

Now if the average carat size is 1.6, then that would mean that there were approximately 658 diamonds found. (1053.2 / 1.6)

14 of those were specials, and those 14 = 386 carats.

meaning that there is 644 (658-14) diamonds left to make up the 667 (1053-386) carats remaining.

644/667 = 0.965 carats/stone...

not too bad, I mean they dont appear to be Microstones (but again, that is averages we are talking about).
Still, would be nice to know their value/crt etc.
