In 2012 SLR were supposedly on track to become a 400k ounce pa gold producer. Now they are guiding only 120-130k ounces pa. Since 2012 SLR has had two capital raisings (lucky subscribers) so ther are a lot more shares out there.

SLR are going to exit their Great Southern and Murch projects, not develop them and the 300k ounce pa operation envisaged for Mt Monger is delivering much less. They sold the mill that would have provided for much higher production level at Mt Monger.

There is no comparison between SLR of 2012 and today. PRU is definitely not their "twin". The better current comparison companies are RMS and DRM.

In an AUD POG $2000 environment which I am expecting to see in one or two years time SLR's share price will go up, so long as they can convert their resources into reserves and costs are contained. Maybe it can get back to around $1.00 eventually, which would be great for those who got in recently but not so hot if you held since $3.00.

loki (I like fairy tales to be told to me so that I can have pleasant dreams)
