Sorry when I said 'other pre-IPO' what I was implying by that is 'in contrast' to a post-IPO company, as in, an unfavourable contrast as it's a newbie mistake and shouldn't be one that a listed company makes. Ultimately, my point was and is, as an investor, when I saw that it gave me pause for thought. As bz847 remarked previously, we're fast approaching the thinner end of the geology wedge and will now need some refined sales skills to sell this to the whale investors. I'm a little concerned about that side of the equation here - and by God I'm not talking them down as I want my investment to increase! Just pointing out a few quibbles that I have recently had and, one wonders, if any of the large silent majority who read these boards and who have also invested, have shared these thoughts. Some of which are easy to remedy. Lastly, definitely lastly, at this end of the market, unless my portfolio is behaving quite like anyone else's in some localised quantum universe, many speccies could announce that their CEO had swapped his briefs for looser fitting boxer shorts and is now far less tense in preparation for potential, possible talks potentially with partners at some point in the future maybe, and the share price would two-bag overnight before retracing. Nearly everything has significant potential to move the SP, up or down. Anyways, I'm not here to argue. I just wanted to point out a few concerns that had been troubling me. Hopefully it's just the way my mind works and not other present or future investors.
