This could be a competitor in one sector of the flame retardant industry (textiles, soft furnishings) but by their own admission they are still 3-5 years from commercialisation and a lot can happen in that time.
However, the more environmentally (and health) friendly flame retardants we have the better I say, as long as Alexium has the edge in price and efficacy
