I love it when great tech emerges from nature. Evolution is the best at providing solutions to problems (if you have millions of years to spend on them). This looks genuinely interesting, perhaps AJX should buy the technology up now, ahead of time and keep it in their pipeline. Sounds an almost ideal technique to apply to fabric too being water based and precipitating on altering pH - wash material in solution, wash in weak acid, wash clean - voila.
