Hey guys,

Quick question from what I understand this app still needs a wifi or 3G connection to work?

If that's so then where are the benefits (you still need to buy a costly overseas 3G data connection or restrict yourself to wifi zones where you could just use Whatsapp or other calling apps free of charge)

I understand you get the benefit of having a local number but voip has been doing that for pennies on the dollar for decades.

Trying to understand the value proposition as someone who travels extensively and also is fed up with having to switch Sims constantly. But I mostly use data overseas rather than calls (as have apps for calls viber etc) but would still need a local data package which means local sim? Is that correct or am I missing something here ?
