Mate there is no deal on the table....if there was FMG would be in a trading halt....there was no reason for the recent price hike, nothing has changed there debt is the issue, in 18 months they had paid down a small amount, and increased there interest costs, there processing costs may be down, however until the can reduce there debt significantly where the share price currently sits is over priced
