Hi Hot, was eating some dinner and came to the same conclusions. The devil would be in the detail of the contract and I wouldn't be surprised if they waive certain rights a holder would have.
Someone who's had experience in these style of contracts is definitely needed. Mr google doesn't give you a full picture.
