TON posters start up threads along similar lines, as do SYR and the others.
Surely if you want to discuss peer comparisons under a stock thread then it should be left there. The only caveat is that perhaps it starts a flame war. But then why bring a flame war down to the nerds graphite thread, which is a peaceful haven, free from "mine's bigger than yours" comparisons
