"Any idea if their cost cutting measures worked and if they are actually making any money". Great question, and if the Bradken board had any regard for its shareholders whatsoever, they would have put out an update by now telling us the first quarters results! but no, that would appear to be to much effort. How can the market have any confidence in bkn when we don't know how the business is tracking?? The silence from the board is deafening!!!! Then again, this is probably exactly what they want, a lower shareprice so the outgoing chairmans CHAMP private equity can come on with a $2 takeover bid, and it will look compelling based on today's price, and most shareholders would begrudgingly accept it. This theory of mine seems compelling by the astonishing lack of news flow from management that has helped lower the shareprice. am I expecting to much to expect a simple asx trading update??? Please put me back in my box if I am asking too much.
