Thanks Andy,I have to agree the seemingly safe option while is seemly less risk it is also significantly less reward.

Earning 5-8% dividends sound attractive for many but my goals are lofty ones and the only way to reach them is to take calculated risks in exploration companies and hope that with enough research,experience and sometimes good luck that other people start to see the value in what I believe is undervalued company.

The safer route of investing in your established mines is a guaranteed way for me not to achieve my goals, all the big money in those shares has been made therefore like yourself I choose to seek out companies that I believe can go on to reach lofty heights. Unlike yourself I am at the start of this journey bit by bit building my capital.

Interestingly enough I was speaking to my father about WCN, I grew up in Johannesburg and his father worked in the mining industry. My father also drew comparison with the Witwatersrand region which made me hopeful that this is indeed Elephant country.
