Read this carefully as i will write this only once.
COP ARE exiting Deepwater exploration and Development.
Right now they have 4 Tier one companys going through their deepwater data and are trying to sell the lot as a package, bids should be in by the end of the year. I fno joy they will split it up and sell it to Tier 2 companies and so on.
They are keen to have successfull appraisal in senegal to increase its value but they're still selling.
I dont understand their logic but its what they're doing, i dont think it affects FAR's future in the slighest way, its just one company's strategy to get through the next few years.
