Finished with the son's restoration of his house. Put it on the market on Saturday, and received first offer which was above what he was hoping for. Nice start. Has to sell as he has bought else where.
Did you back the Melbourne Cup winner? Very nice for those who did. And loved the jockey telling the doubters to get stuffed. That was gold.

As for GBZ - as I have been posting for ages, delayed news is almost always bad news. It was a crap announcement from the start - great fanfare - we agree to negotiate. Big deal! Unfortunately I don't think we have anything. I don't buy the story of the gold mines. Any of them. I hope that I am wrong, but if there was anything there, we would not have got them for the price we paid.

I read with interest Craig's comments about junior mines. (what happened to the fact that we are in gold etc?). There is another factor at play with junior mines. Much more important, that affects the industry, and ASX and ASIC do nothing to stop. People are waking up to this hence money is drying up. The market is always right.
