Biggerboat.. I know why I normally just read the comments on HC and not participate..I've never represented myself as an experienced Investor but I do research each company I have a stake in before making a decision..99% I shelve as a no.... Small Caps wasn't the correct term but its the word I use when thinking about the difference between a company with shares at $100++- each and one with shares below $10... My budget keeps me researching companies with good prospects..not necessarily at $5 a share but I do stick to a budget and $5+- is my comfort zone. It might be CLH when it was at 2.20 or another at 7.00.. I'm not in the ballpark financially to buy 500++ shares @ $90 a share.. and I don't see the point in buying 20 shares for $2000.. I'm late to investing,,10 years from retirement.. not 30+- years like a lot of members.(my husband is anti shares and its taken me years to convince him)
I have done reasonably well to date (without MF). CLH is one I admit where I didn't 'do my own research' as it received a continuous fantastic plug from MF while I was a subscriber, so here we are...
