Yes that's how I read it - the PUTs give the buyer the right to sell at the price of say $8 at a given date so in that scenario whoever offered those 100 lots of shares for $8 is saying I will buy them off you by the 26th of Nov at $8 - isn't that actually another vote of confidence?
Its all gambling IMO no way known anyone could try tell me it isn't.
