Noyesm, your theory with Alcantara is "strong buy"!
We discussed a few months ago here on HC the possibility that AJX could collaborate with them.
I did some additional research as I remembered a media release from AJX where AJX signs a sales and distribution agreement with iTextiles to commence sales in European markets targeting near term sales in automotive and military.
(The AJX media release is dated 6 July 2015 or you may check it with the link below).
The two mentioned senior sales representatives from iTextiles who are dedicated to sales and marketing of Alexium's FR formulation are based in Italy. In Europe iTextile has 3 associates located in Barcelona (Spain), Frankfurt (Germany) and Milan (Italy).
And guess… what a coincidence… Alcantara's HQ is in Milan too…
So it could really be Alcantara or another bigger Italian company. Otherwise why didn't iTextile take the associate located in Frankfurt as the Techtextile show (co-exhibitor with iTextile) is in Frankfurt too?
But wait, I have more to speculate about. Further in the media release:
"Both (the sales representatives) will formally commence work in three countries Italy, Germany, and the Czech Republic initially addressing 6 customers who have expressed a desire for both iTextile textile products and Alexium FR formulation as a whole product solution"….
You can call me crazy but my guess is that beside Alcantara (Italy) further customers could be specific car brands from the VW Group. Why? Because they mentioned Germany and Czech Republic!
As I told you, it's just my uneducated guess but we speak about customers in the automotivesector and to the German VW Group belongs - among other brands - VW, Audi, Porsche (from Germany) and Skoda (originally from Czech Republic since 1991 in the VW Group but still with major production in the Czech Republic).
Again, just my interpretation from the official information we received. Hope you like it.
Maybe as I just live around 3 hours from Milan I should visit Alcantara or iTextile and ask for more information…
