Santos were the first to frac a deep coal seam in the more central part of the basin, I am sure they are watching what STX are doing. Conveniently (for STX) they probably dont have the balance sheet to be going for acquisitions right now so that hopefully allows STX to get a lot further down the track before running into a wall of money.
BPT must be running their eyes across it though. They secured another 500mil + funding facility the other day to go with their existing cash and DLS cash. That makes their balance sheet much more capable than it was a few months ago.
Hopefully we get a lot further down the track first.
