Market softness currently and I guess the big elephant in the room likely affecting the timing of the NYSE listing relates to the Fed interest rate decision due in mid-December. Read today that markets are now calling a 60%+ chance of the first rate hike since GFC so there’d be broad trepidation anticipating the greater market response. Some clear air post a rate hike would be the safer bet which is maybe why a January listing for AJX is more likely.
Rate hike would also signal a stronger USD – great for AJX contracts going forward..
